Tim earned his B.S. from Towson University and his M.A. from Wesleyan University. Most recently, he served as the headmaster at Grand River Academy—an all-boys boarding school in Ohio for young men who have amazing potential, but learn differently. He’s served on the board at the Ohio Association of Independent Schools and Big Sisters of NE Ohio. He has led accreditation visits for the Independent Schools Association of the Central States (ISACS) and believes professional development is integral to a forward-thinking school.
Director of Education
Dee Rosenberg, Director of Education, taught elementary and high school special education students for over twenty years before starting Laurel School of Princeton and joining Newgrange in 2001. She is a certified Learning Disabilities Teacher Consultant. She is also a Wilson Reading Teacher and Teacher Trainer. She has extensive experience as a practitioner and trainer withProject Read, Language Essentials for Teachers of Reading and Spelling, and Developing Metacognitive Skills. Dee is the past President of the New Jersey Branch of the International Dyslexia Association (2012). Dee speaks nationally and internationally to teachers and parents about strategies to encourage achievement and strengths of dyslexic students.
Dee is responsible for ensuring instructional quality and effectiveness. She supervises the teaching staff and all related activities, including assessments and data collection.

Kelly Dun comes to the Newgrange family of schools with nearly 30 years of experience in secondary education, both as a classroom teacher and as an administrator. After earning her BA at the University of New Hampshire, Kelly worked in the Plymouth and Duxbury, Massachusetts school systems, and then at St. Ann’s School in Brooklyn, New York. In 1997 she moved to New Jersey, where she began a 17-year career at the Princeton Day School, serving as Director of Admissions, Director of Financial Aid, and Director of Enrollment Management. After receiving her M.Ed. from the University of Pennsylvania, Kelly next became the founding Executive Director of the Give Something Back Foundation, an organization devoted to expanding college access to first-generation families. In building this program she connected with public schools, colleges, business groups, and community-support initiatives across New Jersey, Delaware, and Pennsylvania. Kelly serves as a volunteer Court Appointed Special Advocate for New Jersey-area foster youth and is a member of the Board of Trustees at Doane Academy. She is thrilled to be joining the team as Assistant Head of School for External Relations.
