Staff Affiliations

Members of the Newgrange Staff are actively involved with New Jersey  branches of leading special education, reading, math, science, speech/language, and transition-related organizations.  Read below for descriptions and web addresses of the organizations that provide excellent resources for parents.  Some of the organizations also offer parent memberships.

ASAH – not-for-profit organization of private schools and agencies in NJ which provide highly specialized services to more than 11,000 infants, children and your adults with learning disabilities.  Founded in 1974 ASAH now serves more than 125 schools and agencies throughout the state. http://www.asah.org/

American Occupational Therapy Association (AOTA) – where parents can get tips and learn about occupational therapy.  http://www.aota.org/, org, and member of NJOTA http://www.njota.org/

American Speech-Language Hearing Association (ASHA) –  The American Speech-Language Association is the professional, scientific, and credentialing association for more than 150,000 members and affiliates who are audiologists, speech-language pathologists, and speech, language, and hearing scientists in the Unites States and internationally.  ASHA dedicates a portion of the website with educational resources for the public.  http://www.asha.org/
